Settlement Reached In Missouri LGBT Web-Filtering Case

The American Civil Liberties Union has an action with a central Missouri School District is their Internet filtering software, access to educational sites about gay, Lesbian and transgender issues was blocked.
The ACLU says that the Camdenton R-III school district has agreed to stop blocking sites puts supervision for 18 months and $125,000 in legal fees and costs to pay.
As part of a national campaign, the ACLU sued in last autumn Federal Court in Jefferson City on behalf of companies, whose Websites were blocked again. District Barnett stated that many of the sites have been released.
The ACLU says the Barnett's School Board approved the settlement Tuesday and that it was submitted Wednesday to the Court.
