MasterCard reports possible security breach

MasterCard Inc. is a potential breach of security relating to third-party study and has alerted banks and law enforcement agencies, the company said on Friday.
The credit card processor said the problem affects a company headquartered in the United States and organization is reviewed by an independent data safety.
MasterCard's announcement comes after a report on a blog called Krebs on security, said that MasterCard and Visa Inc. have banks in the United States about a "massive" violation which was more than warnings can affect 10 million cardholders.
"MasterCard concerns if the choice of the card holders could be bothered and we persists both this event monitor and take action to protect account information", in a statement, the company said. "Cardholder concerns about their individual accounts have, they should contact their issuing financial institution."
MasterCard do not say how many of the card-holders could be affected. Visa responds representatives not immediately to requests for comment.
